What is enough?

Business, done differently.

Avision Planning Impact

I believe business can and should be a vehicle for good - especially when that business operates in relationship with First Nations. As a white settler, I have a responsibility to use my skills, connection, and privilege in ways that are equitable and honest.

At Avision Planning, I've asked myself: what is enough? Enough to live well, work meaningfully, and still give back. That question shapes every business decision I make - and it is the foundation of my commitments below.

  1. Put people over profits. I offer customized rates for First Nations so you keep more of your resources in-house - to spend on the priorities that matter most to your community.
  2. Volunteer my time. I offer my skills, connections, and time to advance priorities your First Nation identifies - beyond the scope of any paid contract.
  3. Donate financial resources. I contribute a portion of revenue to support initiatives your First Nation chooses - because your community knows best where support is needed.
What this looks like in practice is as unique as your First Nation. There is no formula - just an honest conversation about where support would be most meaningful.

Ultimately, I am committed to leaving the world better than I found it. And to doing this work in a way that is authentic, accountable, and rooted in genuine relationship.
